The Last of Whinfell!

Good, bad, all things have to end, don't they?

I loved that weekend away with my family and here's the last of the pictures that I managed to get (not counting the travelling ones on the other post). I still really think I outdid myself on these little outings and sincerely hope I've managed to keep up this quality since. Let me know what you think!

These were all taken on 2017-09-03, early in the morning and the weather just about managed to stay fairly clear, despite being absolutely freezing and with just enough wind to make many of these shots that bit more difficult! Enjoy!

Why do I only ever manage to get the backs of birds? Ah well, at least this one's in focus!

Yes! You can see its front! I really tried to get a portrait shot of this but the bird moved before I could, plus the branches were all swaying in the breeze making this almost impossible!

The ducks were easier to photograph.

Sailing away.

I just love the complexity of the water in this one.

Keeping this plant still in the centre was a nightmare!

Colour filter is always necessary!

Saw the interesting colour match up, had to go for it!

Okay, I'm quite proud of this one!

And that right there is what I absolutely fell in love with that weekend!

Bye Whinfell! You have been incredible!

And that draws it to a close. That weekend was brilliant and I'm so proud of some of these pictures. I just hope I can keep the quality up! Still, I can't wait until I travel again!

As always, any tips and comments are hugely appreciated!

Thanks for browsing! Cya soon!
