Vibrant, Unyielding Spring on Rivington

SPRING!! and wow, I've been slacking with this blog! I was going to commit to one post per month but I think I've already failed that. Hmm... how about one every two months? At least! That sounds doable. Plus, to make it up to you (whoever actually reads this, you awesome person you) I'll start adding more random side stuff I find, anything to do with nature that's awesome!

ANYWAY, spring. Do I even need to begin explaining why spring is awesome. It also becomes summer so freaking quickly! We almost miss spring in a heart beat. (Or, at least, I did) But still! I managed to get out a bit over spring, around working on other things.

WELL, (why am I capslock-ing the first word like that?) You've read enough. You came here for spring pictures and I've got... some. Here you go!

These were taken on 2018-04-21 at Rivington Pike (where else?) on brilliantly clear and sunny Spring day. Remember to take plenty of water people! Enjoy!

Summer's at the end of that corridor

Fading Winter

Ooh, if it wasn't for that fence this view would be perfect!

Managed to get rid of most of the fence. This was an amazing spot to stop, rest and just soak in it.

Because logs are trees too

Had to take a melancholic one

Oooh, that's got to be one of the better 'rolling horizon' shots I've ever taken!

Tried the colour filter though, if I'm honest, I don't think it added anything.
What do you think?

Shimmering golden trees

I don't have any witty comment, I was just awestruck by this Monolith Tree

I had to get some tree silhouettes in!

More direct sunlight to the camera lense on this one, better or worse?

I'm quite proud of capturing the path rolling away from the camera.

Beautiful green among the remnants of winter.

Not too bad, thoughts?

Figured this was pretty striking. Maybe too much, what do you think?

I love how the combination of sunlight and colour filter makes this picture almost look faded and ancient

I have a thing for water in pictures, okay?

The last leaf of winter

Nature will always find a way, scaling all our stone walls

The grass beneath a waterfall

And there it is. It might not be much but I figured with less chances to get out I'd take a quality over quantity approach from now on which, of course, means that any tips and comments you have will absolutely be appreciated.

Hope to have another post for you all soon.

Thank you so much for browsing, sincerely!
Cya soon!!
