Autumn quickly turns to winter, doesn't it, and before any of us realize were clearing ice from everything and debating how hard we're hoping for snow! (In my case its always 'like a child on the sugar high of a million chocolates who's parents are surely sick of it by now') But that's not Autumn's style, Autumn's more maturity and transition so what could I do but spend a morning going all hipster, coffee and all (and I'm not even sure I like coffee), and driving around a nearby village in the rain with my camera!
These were all taken on 2017-10-28 in the early morning at various locations around Haigh. Weather was overcast with intermittent rain and fairly cold.

Stoic windmill is stoic. I spent ages trying to get a decent shot with the windmill in the exact center but just couldn't (mainly due to the giant bush immediately to my right and the crappy sign to the left of that gate.)
Can I live here please?
It was nearly Halloween, how could I not do orange and black!
One of the milder, kinder colours of Autumn.

Pushing the colour filter as far as it will go. I almost got blue!
Was sat in my car thinking where to go next and just looked at my wing-mirror. Was begging for a picture!
Well, I think this was my best picture this Autumn. Lets see what I can do next year.
And there it is. I didn't get chance to go out much the rest of this Autumn (and it turned to winter really quickly this year). Was good to get out and capture some of it. Let me know what you think!
