3/3 Finally getting arty with it - Rivington

Well, here we are on the last of these three post all taken on that one light drenched morning on Rivington Pike. By this point I had been out there several hours and safe to say these were perhaps my most experimental pictures of the morning. I played with the colour filter a lot more at this point so do please let me know what you think, what worked well, what didn't. I always love getting your feedback.

These were all taken on Rivington Pike on 1-9-2015. Morning light had started to appear that bit later as the seasons shifted to autumn giving some incredible lighting for these pictures which still held plenty of green from summer. "The dawn of Autumn" if you like. Enjoy!

Okay, I might have gone overboard with the colour filter...

Better with the blue or the darker colours in the centre?

Okay, I did quite a bit with the colour filter...

...Worth it!

Focus on the background...

Focus on the flower. Which was better?

Tried a few different positions with the flower and the light. Which worked best?

More dark and light in the same pic, more towards midday light now.

Its all arty and stuff!

Experimented with landscape and portrait here.

Which do you prefer? I think on this picture with the colour filter and the tree on the right the portrait one worked better.

Took to portrait one again with a higher horizon, think this third one is my favourite of the three.

Again, a little experiment. Love that third green one.

Hot midday sun baking the rolling green. Love how the tree's line up against the sun directly behind me.

And lets end on a shot of the mystery tree in the hot sun. I think the surprising heat comes off well in this picture despite the cool green.

And that's the last from that morning on Rivington. I definitley still had stuff to learn, heck I still do, but I think I did alright and learned a lot from the experimental pictures I took. Please do let me know what you think, love hearing from you all.

As always tips and comments are hugely appreciated!
Thanks for browsing!
Cya soon!
